Los Angeles, one of the largest and most diverse cities in the United States, has plenty to offer when it comes to attractions that are best visited on foot. Some of the more famous areas are: Little Tokyo, the Fashion District, the Historic Core, Pueblo/Chinatown, South Park, Skid Row, the Museum of Contemporary Art, St.Vibiana’s Cathedral and the Music Center to name a few.
The historic Little Tokyo district has some fine buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places and are best enjoyed in a walking tour. The adjacent Civic Center area has the largest concentration of government offices in the United States after Washington, D.C., and is an impressive sight to see.
